Hotel Luxa is booked out

A short notice. The official hotel Luxa has been booked out.

There are quite a few hotels in Mannheim. I further recomend staying in those two hotels which are also in walking distance from the venue (about 15-20 min):

Leonardo Hotel Mannheim City Center
Mercure Hotel Mannheim am Rathaus

For reseverations please use hrs.com or booking.com (or tripadvisor.com).

Preregistering deadlines for the EC - important notice!

Dear VTES players,

in almost a month one of the most important VTES event of each year will be hosted in Mannheim, Germany - the European Championship 2014.

Only about 20 people have preregistered until August 29th. Furthermore only a few rooms have been booked in our designated hotel.

If you are intending to travel to Mannheim for the EC and stay in the official EC hotel, I strongly recommend making a reservation for your hotel room until the 7th of september, as our hotel is going to cancel the remaining rooms which are not booked yet at that point of time.

The organisers would also appreciate if people would preregister for the tournament itself. It´s not because of the fact that we need to know which tournament you want to play but for everything else - like for example planing the complimentary lunch buffet, EC t-shirts, buttons and so on.

Update: Accomodation at LUXA Hotel

If you plan to stay at the hotel LUXA during the Championship weekend, please mention "Andreas Nusser" in the subject line, as we made reservation on my name. If you run into problems do not hesitate to CC me at store@vtes.de.

Registration online

The registration for the V:TES European Championship 2014 is now online.

The admittance fee for the three day event is 45 EUR or 55 EUR with an EC T-Shirt (both advanced payment). On-site late registration costs 50 EUR or 60 EUR with an EC t-shirt.

Please note that the admittance fee includes a complimentary lunch meal (salad and main course) each day during the Championship event.
